Ah got it. You have seen RT and surface undisclosed pricing targets and it's not as low as you thought so now you have to backtrack on the Fire advantage in pricing otherwise the Microsoft products will look positively outclassed.

You can sell for less than Apple does, but you can't really sell the same quality that Apple does for much less. Suddenly that $200 price difference between a Fire HD and an iPad is not looking so large. You get what you pay for. I am sure the Fire HD is a nice device, but like previous models, its no iPad.
