Apple IIc unboxing

This is classic, literally... Some guy bought an unopened Apple IIc on eBay and then took unboxing shots like it was a new product. Good stuff, especially for nostalgia freaks like myself.

BTW... I was a Commodore guy for much of my early computing life. I recall a high school buddy, Ken Sharma, bought an Apple IIc when I had a Commodore 64: A few others and I road him ceaselessly for getting a machine that was four times as expensive but came with a green screen instead of a color monitor. Later, however, I bought an Apple IIGS, starting a decades-long love/hate relationship with Apple that continues to this day.

Ken, if you're out there, buddy. Drop me a line.

My first pc was an '85 apple iic. My dad got it for me for school. I soon supplemented the 13" green screen with a Commodore Color Monitor (TV without a tuner), so I could play the Space Station sim. Never did finish the damn game. It was a great little machine. It did exactly what I needed it to do, word processing with spell checking. Hooked to one of the first HP inkjet printers, it was a great dorm room setup. The following year the Navy saw fit to issue me a Zenith 248, 286 w/ 128kB RAM and EGA graphics. And that was pretty much the last time I used an Apple computer.
