I’m a PC - Messenger Theme Pack

Microsoft has released a Theme Pack for Windows Live Messenger that lets you celebrate your computing diversity and strike back at the Cupertino Haters.

And really, God bless ‘em for that.

On the flipside, you have to use IE to download. And really, that’s pretty lame. :)

Ah well.

Thanks to Bruce for the tip.

Cool, I downloaded it and my contacts have noticed it. They like it and find it funny, a lot of them seem to get the message especially the one that says "I'm a PC and a Human Being" Love that one.

Maybe this is my chance for that audition that I've wanted! Wouldn't you rather have a REAL doctor in a TV series? If he/she could act, I mean.

I absolutely love the counter "I'm a PC" advertisement. Especially with some of the extreme reaction of some of the people in here. The ludicrous statements made in here sometimes makes you question if some people have a conscience. It a good reality check that using slurs and stereotypes gets lots in this whole geek debate. I understand everyone has opinions but there's a fine line between discourse and just tearing someone down for the sake of making yourself look big. It goes too far in here and I think the commericials are an effective counter. As for the theme pack, I don't think thats for me. I understand why they did it. Its great to humanize the debate and refocus it on the issues. Course the message occassionally fall on deaf ears.
