Office Live Web Applications beta delayed until 2009

Paul, it will be 2009 in a few days. And PS, Google sux. These will probably work great on my $400 Vista laptop [which shipped with MS Works anyway].

rjohn05 Since bloggers and analysts have decided to take on the task of scheduling releases for companies, without benefit of actual knowledge, there appear to be far more delayed products than there actually are. That said, missing a date provided by a Microsoft person at PDC would count as a real delay in my view.

G4's Adam Sessler's comments about video game developers hitting their target dates can certainly be applied to Microsoft. Thats why I think Paul's June 2009 date for Windows Seven is highly improbable. If they can't get Office Web Apps done and on schedule, a beast more complex such as Windows Seven will take more time.

Honestly who cares Roberts, I don't care if it was lent to him or he owns it. Just like I don't care if he decides to smoke in the white house. We have more pressing issues to worry about, like the economic slowdown/recession. A war in another country, political relations we need to improve with other countries. This thing about what Obama uses doesn't really apply. Other than the US, Australia, the U.K. and probably Germany does Apple sell. Off of the OT I can wait a little longer, I rather a working program than a buggy program released to soon.
