LOL. I think someone just figured out the scariest possible jack-o-lantern:

(From Boing Boing)

They should have done a spinning ball of death for Mac users too. :)

"they're just a bunch of trolls coming out from under the same bridge, or from the closet, or whatever...." Wow. A homophobic insult! You're so clever, Wae. Your mom must be proud.

Yep, the laptops are just overpriced. The All-in-One's are close in price with Dell, and the Xeon WS Mac Pro towers are actually less expensive. But as we have been through this many times, the typical user can buy a much less expensive Desktop/Tower with very good performance to exceed all their needs. Sure, Apple does great from a profitability standpoint and good business model, but most would rather see lower prices and and increased market share to sustain growth, especially in view of the world economy. All companies are in the business of making profit, but several differ in the method to achieve it. I'm just a doctor, but I think that Apple will need to make less expensive desktops [and laptops] in the future as competing OSes continue to improve and narrow the gap between their differences. An example is Windows live services, which are free, and may stay free. It's and added value [and has access by other platforms] but makes Windows more appealing to the consumer that feels they are getting 'something more'. [In contrast to MobileMe]
