Separated at birth?

Oh no, apple couldn't have copied that. Apples is grey and blue, and the "m" is in lower case. Absolutely nothing like microsoft's. Same as any other "feature" of osx that just happens to do exactly the same thing as a Microsoft feature that has been around even longer. Oh, no.

I thought the "me" name was bad enough, but the logo is even worse.

I think you're streching there. I think for those who hopped out and corporate users, they can afford mobile me. But the regular users will not. Not worth the blog space in my opinion.
