Tip: Run Web-Based (and Free) Angry Birds in IE 9

Thanks to Rodrigo M. for this excellent tip: You may have followed the news that Rovio announced the release of a free Google Chrome-based version of its blockbuster Angry Birds game yesterday. Turns out you can run it on IE 9, too. Just visit the correct URL. Which is:

it also works in Firefox 4, though you could tell it was slow in places.

The ironic thing is that when I run Angry Birds in Chrome I get no sound on either Windows or Mac. When I run it in IE9, I do. That doesn't show off Chrome too well.

Note that you must not be in compatibility view mode for it to work in IE 9. Seems pretty slow in IE 9, though.

Also works on Firefox 3.6. There goes my productivity .... ;-)
