Just watched a video clip on gaming. Oh noes! They are going after Apple! THEY AUTO LOSE FOR BEING BETTER AT SOMETHING! HAX! HAX! Call the reinforcements! They can't get away with the truth! They can't get away with being positive! That's not legal! MONOPOLY! They were fair, positive and honest! GET THEM! ^ Exactly what I expect to see in the coming days and weeks.

Dang, the hospital firewall blocked Live's Skydrive, but not Live Mesh. Go figure!

DRWAM One of the design goals in Live Mesh was using existing, common web protocols so that it would work through firewalls.

Very nice. Microsoft must have opened up their pocketbook and hired some actual designers. You know, if you're in to that sort of thing.

@ lotsa: WTF are you on about? MSFT websites have had a great design - for almost 3 years now, as far as I remember. Not all sites are designed with rounded edges and reflections on all things.

I put everything on Mesh any way, since I could sync an entire folder with 200 files an a few seconds, instead of UL one at a time with Skydrive [since I did not read anything about it]. SO Mesh is a good thing for me. The hospital firewall is as tight as one can get, so I'm not surprised of the Live situation, which works great on Macs and PC's [but Mesh can even UL and DL files on a Mac through FF browser too]. This is amazing stuff, especially in view of the Comcast file locker [or whatever they called it] which was real buggy. It can't even find a link for it any more, so MS has given me a nice present, because I really need those files to be available at any time. Kudos to MS!

I like all the videos. They are doing a really good job in my opinion helping consumers really see how windows can integrate with the lives. This is way better than they have been doing the past few years. With all the cool stuff coming out of microsoft research (gestures, like Iron Man movie), as well as Windows 7, Live Mesh (which even in Tech Preview has had a huge impact on how i access my data), Home Server, Media Center Extenders, and other services, the future looks good. I just hope they can pull it off.

Honestly tayme, I dont know what you are talking about, and I am to lazy to go find it. It is pretty surprising he locked that one down. Not only locked it, but through some flame bait to start it off, got a lot of flak from it and then threw the last word before locking it. Shameful indeed.
