Office 2013 Now Available on TechNet, MSDN

Microsoft’s recently completed Office Professional Plus 2013 suite is now available for download to TechNet and MSDN subscribers. SharePoint Server 2013, Exchange Server 2013, Lync Server 2013 are also available.

I suspect the availability varies somewhat by subscription type, but with my TechNet Standard subscription, I see Office Professional Plus 2013 (in separate x86 and x64 downloads), SharePoint Server 2013, Exchange Server 2013, and Lync Server 2013. I get two product keys for the client suite and one for the servers. The client download is 667-769 MB.

On MSDN, I see the same offerings, plus Visio Professional 2013 and Project Professional 2013.

I’ll be reviewing Office 2013 in November.

I can confirm that the following are available for download in my TechNet for Microsoft Action Pack Solution Provider subscription: - Office Professional Plus 2013 (3 keys) - Visio Professional 2013 (3 keys) - Project Professional 2013 (3 keys) - SharePoint Server 2013 Enterprise (1 key) - Office Web Apps 2013 (1 key) - Exchange Server 2013 Standard (1 key) - Exchange Server 2013 Enterprise (1 key) - Lync Server 2013 (no key required) This is all fine and dandy, but any idea when these products will be available for internal use through the Action Pack downloads?

Am I the only one that is kind of missing the Start Search ability for Outlook? Is it there and I'm missing it? Any explanations for that? I know your not an Outlook guy, but that was my go to method for finding contacts, and now my productivity is in the toilet. I really need to be able to bring up a contact fast before I pickup the phone. I used to be able to punch in the last 4 digits of a phone # or any txt from notes section, and all kinds of cool stuff that is just gone now.

For you MAPS customers, they should be available now. I haven't checked in a few days, but it says the products were released on 10/28.

I've been using the PREVIEW. I wonder if it will ask for update or should I install the latest version?

BTW: I see that IE10 support is now working for the comment system. And in native standards mode to boot. Good job!
