Pre-Order Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC Windows Phone 8X at Best Buy

Best Buy has opened up pre-orders for two top-of-the-line Windows Phone 8 handsets today, the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC Windows Phone 8X. Prices ranage from $99 to $149 with contract and $599 for each without.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is available in red, yellow, white, cyan, or black, each with 32 GB of storage. The price is $149 with a contract or $599 without.

The HTC Windows Phone 8X seems curiously limited: It comes in only one color (for now), California Blue (i.e. purple), and comes with 16 GB of storage (not the 8 GB noted at Best Buy). The price is $99 with a contract or $599 without.

You can pre-order any of these handset versions from Best Buy starting today.

I tried to pre-order off contract at $599 and wasn't able to add it to my cart to check out. Tried it on a couple of different computers, Nexus 7 and my phone with no luck. Guess I will try again later. Excited for this phone and for Windows 8. Also, why do I have to select a rating to submit a comment? What am I rating? My comment? 5 stars of course. Or Paul's site and writing? 5 stars of course! :) No big deal, but weird.

Someone posted a link to the cached Google links and I was able to pre-order the red 920 out of contract. http://goo.gl/0rC5w

I clicked the link and only the 8X is listed now. Maybe the Nokia listings were accidental? Here I was excited to finally plunk some cash down for my 920! Ah, well, my Surface will arrive Friday and get me by...
