MSN Onit App Launches for iPhone, iPad

After launching first on Windows Phone 7 in March, the MSN Onit app is now available on the iPhone and iPad. Onit “combines the best men’s lifestyle content from MSN and its partners, including The Smoking Jacket, Esquire and Men’s Health. The app is the ultimate ‘guys guide’ to cars, girls, gadgets, fitness, events and more, aggregating top content from across the Web. Additionally, Onit blends the power and convenience of Bing with the best social networking features, allowing users to search for and share content with their Facebook friends.”

Here’s some more info from the official MSN Blog:

ARRGH! Yet another WORLDWIDE FAIL on Microsoft's part. This thing is on the Canadian Windows Phone Marketplace and it asks for a US zipcode for location-related search.

One point of advice for application developers: If you are developing an app that relies on a single-region online service, DON'T RELEASE THE F&$#IN' APP INTERNATIONALLY!!
