Sporting the now-familiar 360-degree hinge and the Lift n' Lock keyboard, the latest iteration of Lenovo's convertible notebook has updated Intel processors. The Yoga tops out at 16 GB of memory and 1 TB SSD storage, and it weighs approximately three pounds.
It will be available in February 2017 for $1149.
With 16 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage, this machine -- starting at $949 and available in January 2017 -- is meant for serious mobile use. In Lenovo's words: "The ThinkPad X270 is an 12” business road warrior system that is optimized around battery life with the potential of over 20 hours of run time thanks to the dual configurable battery architecture. The system comes in under 3 lbs. with a complete set of ports and connectivity."
This $949 machine lost 8% of its weight and gained a 16-hour runtime on batteries. It now weighs 4.4 pounds and is approximately 15" by 10". It's available in February.
To quote the Lenovo release, "The ThinkPad T470s is a 14” Ultrabook under 3 lbs. and under 19mm thin that provides over 10 hours of battery life. The system is ideal for the road warrior who’s looking for a large compliment of ports and connectivity." The memory is SSD only and the machine has 24 GB RAM.
The $1149 machine is available in January 2017.
The $1099 model is, in Lenovo's words, "a business system made for performance driven users who desire a 14” form factor."

A smaller, lighter version of the ThinkPad L570 (see next slide), this four-pound laptop has 12 hours of battery life and up to 32 GB of RAM. It starts at $799, available in February 2017.
This computer, starting at $949 and available in February 2017, "is positioned as a 15” mainstream business value system in the ThinkPad line." It's got an estimated 11 hours of battery life, a max of 16 GB of memory, one TB of storage, and a dedicated numeric keypad and an optical drive. The machine is roughly 15" by 10".
The $699 computer will be available in January 2017. It's got 32 GB of memory, 512 GB of storage, and a fairly lightweight 3 pound heft. The machine is a little larger than a standard sheet of letterhead -- nearly 13" by 9".
Just in time for people whose Q1 2017 budgets include a hardware upgrade, Lenovo's unveiled nine new laptop models, including a refresh of its convertible Yoga laptop.
