No, we have not made the leap into reviewing movies here at the SuperSite but we do have a couple of Star Wars: The Force Awakens tidbits that we think will be of interest to all of you.
However, speaking of seeing the movie, I did go see it last night and it was thoroughly enjoyable and well worth the visit to watch it in a crowded theater. Feeling and being part of the audience reactions as familiar faces came on screen for the first time, the laughter and the gasps as the movie moved forward really made for a great viewing experience.
I highly recommend it.
So what if you are not the theater type and prefer to wait for the DVD, Blu-Ray or digital release? Well an offer that just showed up in the Windows Store will be of great interest to you - just like the plot of this movie.
As of today you can find Star Wars: The Force Awakens (HD) being offered for digital pre-order in the Windows Store on all Windows 10 devices for $14.95 - a savings of $5 - and a really good price to add the film in your digital collection.
If you have been following along this past week you have also seen the stream of Universal Windows Platform (UWP) apps that have been released from several big name companies.
Well overnight, the very popular BB-8 App-Enabled Droid toy, received some Windows UWP love as well with the release of a Windows UWP app that allows you to control the toy instead of only having to use an iOS or Android device.
That makes this droid the one you are looking for on Windows for sure!
Enjoy the movie!
