Microsoft Entertainment Unit President Robert Bach Sells 20,000 Shares

Associated Press:

The president of the entertainment division at software provider Microsoft Corp. sold 20,000 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC Tuesday, Robert J. Bach reported he sold the shares Tuesday for $34.33 to $34.90 apiece.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

You know, the last time he did this, Microsoft announced a $1 billion warranty recall. I wonder if this is related to the Zune 80? :)

Kidding, kidding. I'm a kidder.

Would you quit it with the needless Apple bashing. You would never make snide remarks like this about Microsoft. Oh wait... :-)

This is a no-brainer - Black Friday and the holiday shopping season is coming up. I think the dude just needed $686,600 in holiday spending money.

I would have done the same after years of lethargic MSFT stock. Can't blame him !

I guess that you are right Dave, but I have had the stock since 2001 and really hate to sell at a loss. MS is very profitable so I just don't understand why the stock is so stagnant. Bummer:(

Sorry, Paul won't magically turn into an objective tech reviewer/commentator by making a few jabs or jokes about MS. A reputation for objectivity is something you earn, over a long time, with solid and non-biased analysis.

"cesjr" is absolutly right. If this story had been about Apple, Paul's post would have ended right after the question mark.

I wonder what kind of magic Steve Jobs is doing that he has so many fanatically devoted fanboys?
