Microsoft Posts Windows 7/Family Guy Clips

Some have said that these are "unaired" but I've seen at least two of them on TV, so I suspect they've all actually made it onto TV in one way or another. In any event, nothing special, but a peek at what the aborted Windows 7-sponsored Seth MacFarlane comedy show could have been like.

I don't know what they were so worried about... These commercials aren't bad or offensive in any way. Of course anyone who's ever seen Family Guy and had strong "moral objections" to it will probably be terribly offended.

Seriously, the actual show has some pretty offensive stuff (still love it) but these were pretty tame.

The damage is done. Microsoft looked lame in the first place with their initial reaction. Not that it would matter, they are already seen as lame all over the world.

*shrugs* The clips were as funny as anything else on "Family Guy." In other words: not funny at all. I don't regret that they were pulled in the slightest. I wouldn't say they were even as tasteless as stuff on "Family Guy" (not that I object to tasteless—I love it, but it has to be funny). I think Microsoft didn't bother more because they weren't even amusing. These days a commercial that's going for humor had better be humorous or it will leave a bad taste in the viewer's mouth that has nothing to do with any possibly offensive content. I think Microsoft made the right decision to kill them. Additionally, Seth McFarlane is a lot more funny voicing the Emperor on those "Robot Chicken: Star Wars" specials than anything on "Family Guy." or these spots.

Wow..not funny at all. That's sort of the problem I always had with the Family Guy show. It'd have one or two really funny scenes, and the rest was just drivel. These are all drivel....disappointing.
