I can see merit in doing this for certain folders. Great idea for Documents. However, my Downloads folder is full of ISO files, which I wouldn't want propagating across all my OneDrive systems. That'd be 20+ GB of space taken up on some low-storage devices.

I'm sure there's a way to offload the default OneDrive path to a mounted SD card in my devices. That might be useful as well. :D

Good point. I am sure an SD card can be targeted as a storage location for OneDrive on PCs = not sure about mobile devices.

I really like onedrive and use it a lot. Being an Office 365 subscriber I am unable to have all files synced to my computer which has a limited size SSD. And syncing to NAS is unbelievably still not supported. This is frustrating and has more than 22k votes on uservoice to bring it to the app but Microsoft is just not hearing or replying.
