Speaking of Google, you may have heard that the company recently started excluding "content farms" from its search results. This is great, but let's take it a step further and de-list those sites and blogs that simply link to other people's stories or re-write them in minor ways. Half the blogosphere does this.

You don't see a lot of this kind of thing for some reason, but this post has an interesting view of what it's like for an average developer at Microsoft. It's not as soul crushing as one might expect, go figure.
Microsoft has updated its Microsoft Answers site with a new look and feel, a new reputation model, and other new features. It's worth checking out.
And finally, while I'm still working to complete Prestige 15 in Call of Duty: Black Ops, what looks like a teaser site for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has gone live. There's nothing to see, yet. But ETA is November 2011. So I guess you could just leave that page up until then. It will never get annoying.
