A tabbed File Explore would best most of those features.

I don't use Skype.

Wednesday, June 29, 2016 - 12:32

Sadly, one of the features I was most looking forward to, being able to read and send text messages from your desktop/laptop, has been dropped. :(

I hope they don't change the power cord again. I already had to get rid of two Band 1 power cords when I bought the Band 2. I now have three Band 2 power cords. It would be nice if they lasted...

Thanks. There was already a request for improved security. I upvoted it and added a comment.

One thing I would like to see is security. Right now, there's no way to secure the device. If you left your Band laying around, anyone could walk up to it and read your text messages and e-mails...

Well, for no apparent reason, Sticky Notes started working again today. No idea why.

Thursday, June 23, 2016 - 10:04

Sticky Notes isn't working any more for me. I can't even get the app to launch.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Monday, June 13, 2016 - 15:54

Well, the particular use case I'm thinking about is if I take the Band off to charge, go to another room in the house, will Basic track these steps, or is it only for longer walks?

Monday, June 13, 2016 - 12:51

"The first for data collection in either the Basic or Detailed modes. The only difference between these is the frequency with which data is collected."

Do you have any more detail on this?...

Are you sure that the Slow Ring is more stable than the Fast Ring? Aren't the Slow Ring builds the exact same builds as the Fast Ring except you get them later and not as frequently? I say this...

Since the rips always seem to be at the top of the band, maybe the connectors extending out of the screen aren't angled enough?

BTW, when I tried to return mine to the Microsoft Store, the...

Yep, the Microsoft Band is poorly constructed. I just had to replace my band because it had the same problem.

Sunday, May 8, 2016 - 07:04

No, this happens after normal wear and tear. The Band is poorly constructed

Sunday, May 1, 2016 - 09:51

How about a band that doesn't tear?

Wednesday, April 27, 2016 - 11:54

It would be nice to see some actual numbers as to how much this improves charge times (ex: turning on Airplane Mode cuts charging time by 25% (or whatever the real number is)).

Monday, April 18, 2016 - 10:19

I like Cortana, but one problem - a fairly big one - is that you can't change your default personal assistant on other platforms. It's definitely not possible with iOS. I don't have an Android...

Still horribly, horribly buggy:
- Refuses to sync with my Microsoft Band 2.
- Bluetooth controls don't work in my car (no FF, no rewind)
- Mail Live Tile is stuck with 6 unread e...

My 950 XL upgrade went fine. It didn't charge over night, but maybe I didn't fully connect it or something.

Saturday, January 16, 2016 - 14:12

As web developer, I know from first hand experience how much time, effort and money gets wasted supporting legacy systems. At my company, we still support IE8. Supporting obsolete browsers such...

Edge does have one significant advantage over Chrome is you're using a touch screen in that the scrolling is much better.

Wednesday, December 30, 2015 - 21:20

I'll also would like to see full support for file paths greater than 255 characters. This was a problem again at work this week. We shouldn't have to jump thru hoops just to do something simple...

Ah, thanks for the tip on notifications. I've made the appropriate changes to my computers and phone.

Wednesday, December 30, 2015 - 09:53

Sorry that I was unclear. What I meant was that Microsoft has been selling XBox Ones for the past 2 years. None of those consoles could be upgraded to Windows 10 until just recently (November...

Tuesday, December 29, 2015 - 14:06

The bump may simply have been simply because of XBox One and Christmas.

A few random wishes:

* Drive encryption for Windows Home edition. I can't believe that there's no built-in drive encryption considering that this is a standard feature of Android and iOS...

Still waiting for the update. Any idea when this will be released in the US?

Thursday, December 17, 2015 - 09:47

The video doesn't load for me on Chrome or IE11:

Chrome says, "Bad SSL client authentication certificate."

IE says, "This page can’t be displayed."

It works in FF though.
