Same problem. The subscription cannot appear to be too expensive. Office 365 looks really attractive if you own more than one PC (which many families do today) but paying for music when free...

It is reasonable to assume that they HAVE run out of the Surface Pro 2. (I have mine and I love it but my eye is on the Surface Pro 3 - 50% more pixels, 38% more screen real estate).
