I have to admit, I think this release screams that the team has lost focus. Making bridges to the either side of the OS is fine but this is...bad to say the least.

I wouldn't see this as a "bad" thing. They are selling a traditional PC with a traditional OS. HP still has to pay MS for those licenses so MS gets paid and HP gets a (admittedly tiny) market...
