I believe him. More specifically, I believe he believes what he is claiming. But this indicates Microsoft was horribly out of touch with who represents the bulk of the company's revenue.

I never had much problem using a mouse with Win8. The case where the UI was really a pain was on a laptop without a touchscreen. Win8 with a touchpad had serious issues.

Yes, especially those using a smaller SSD or on a Surface. Being able to have Store apps live on the microSD card would help a lot. My Android phone has supported this for years already.
