I don't know anything specific about this, but given all the uservoice stuff they're doing for various products I have to assume they're listening now, yes.
Others did answer this, but yes, the high-quality versions of 1520/1020/Icon/930 photos do get uploaded to OneDrive directly from the phone as well (over Wi-Fi).
You could but the Microsoft parts are angled for the Surface devices and dock ports, so they fit exactly. You might have to trim away some of the surrounding plastic on a third party part.

I'm compulsive. And I'm in Europe for three weeks. I always bring 2 PCs on these trips. Now it's just lighter doing so.
FM radio works on the 635. As with other Windows Phone handsets, you need to plug in headphones to start the radio playing.
All that said, I would pay big bucks for this place to have AC. The heat here in the summer is almost intolerable. Many apartments here do have it, but not this one.
