Are these units sold to stores or consumers? If the former, how many of these are sitting on store shelves and warehouses?

There's still nothing for 1.3 billion Windows users who use the Desktop, and don't own a Windows tablet. I fear yet another failure for Microsoft.
This doesn't go far enough. While booting to the desktop is nice, the Start Button only takes you to the Metro Start Screen, not the Start Menu, so still doesn't give users what they want. And...

It's nice that MS is issuing updates on a monthly basis, but I really wish they would fix the issue where the on-screen keyboard doesn't display after you remove the Touch Cover.
Honestly, why not simply have a drop down at the top that lets you go directly to the section that you want?
I think they're going to have to make this free. Unless you have a Windows 8 or RT tablet, I doubt very many people would be willing to pay for this.
