I know my way around Windows 8 just fine but I still prefer the legacy start menu. I will continue to use Start8 from Stardock.

My reason for not even considering Windows Phone 7 is that it looked like the Zune interface from the pics I saw. I hated the Zune interface so I wasn't even willing to give the phone a chance...
