Can an iPad run Photoshop like a MBP or Surface can? Or any of the hundreds of thousands of desktop apps found on WIndows and/or OSX?
Icing on the cake would be MS Office allowing the ribbon bar down the left or right side of the screen. That would provide lots of vertical space for editing, etc.
You can get a nice i5-4200 for around $1,100, which is a pretty nice machine.
As a surface Pro 2 owner I wish it came with a different display. I remember Apple saying that it chose the 16:12 ratio because it worked better in the hand etc. - I'd partly agree.
" but you also want to make sure that your products are everywhere"
Absolutely, and if the Surface is better in certain situations than the iPad then it will win on it own merits.
